Project Hip Hop was the standout event that put The Other Duck on the map. Debuting the Half Swan Collection on November 12, 2006, this became our very first fashion show. After being offered the slot to showcase her line, Cheryl spent 3 weeks straight locked up in her apartment, sewing, cutting and fine-tuning the collection. The artistic unveiling expressed the story of the ugly duckling while displaying high fashion concepts. Project Hip Hop was a dance event, which allowed Cheryl to introduce The Other Duck to the dance community at large. From then on, it took off.
