The first link to a chain of Hollywood fashion shows, Avant Garde hosted The Other Duck's first solo display. Covered by Cal Apparel news, the event launched The Other Duck into the Hollywood scene on December 9, 2006. Displaying the Half Swan collection, the designs were received greatly and were not like anything the audience had ever seen. This was just the beginning to something grand. Everybody has to start somewhere and this was the perfect trampoline to bounce off of, into the Hollywood fashion world.
